June 29, 10–11 a.m., Riverside Park A birdwatching program along the Merrimack River here in Haverhill! Meet at Riverside Park, bring your binoculars, and we’ll try to spot some of the birds that inhabit the area along the river. 629 or Link will be sent the day before the program. Different books and performers featured each month, with songs, silliness and award-winning stories with LGBTQ+ themes. SpeakOUT’s motto is “Ask us anything,” so feel free to bring your questions. June 11, 6–6:45, Stage Street Parking Lot This free outdoor party features singing, dancing, playing instruments, show and tell, and a healthy dose of silliness! Each child will be given their own set of sanitized instruments, and the performers will be at a safe distance.
